Next year, the Jordan Brand will kick off their Air Jordan V 23rd Anniversary celebration by re-releasing the original "Fire Red" colorway in January. One of Michael Jordan's primary selections for the '89-'90 season, the shoe sports a white leather upper, 3M reflective tongue, black midsole, Fire Red accents and a translucent rubber outsole. This will mark the third reissue for the colorway after first returning in 2000 and again as part of the Collezione Pack in 2008.

The "Fire Reds" will hit retail again for $160 on Saturday, January 26. Plenty of pairs will be available and sizing runs down to infant.

I do hope that they make this like how they made the 2006-2007 Vs that were released. They were comfortable and you can ball in them unlike the recent Vs. Also, the tongue....why change the tongue's thickness or trim??? The tongue looks better without the inner lining sticking out like the older models. SMFH x 100000000 at JB for the design decision.

I haven't bought a retro since 2010 because of the declining quality and increase price.
