There's a multi-layered heroic theme incorporated into the Doernbecher Freestyle Air Jordan Retro 4 designed by Isaiah Scott. The young Milwaukie, Oregon native is courageously battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has decided to express his fight with a Superman-inspired shoe.
The shoes sports a black nubuck upper with Kryptonite green accenting and royal blue hits on the mesh paneling, contrast stitching and a Mars-like facsimile of Isaiah peaking on the lateral heel. A Superman logo tongue badge is affixed to the tongue, while a graphic-revealing translucent outsole caps off the look below.
Isaiah's Doernbecher Retro 4 will be available to purchase in limited quantities at select Nike retailers on Saturday, November 5th. Retail will be $175.
