The next big release on the Jordan Brand calendar is the "Obsidian" Retro 12, which will be making its first ever return to retail in true mid-cut form. Originally conceived as a colorway for Michael Jordan to wear in the '97 All-Star Game, but passed over for what we now know as the "Playoff" 12, the shoe features a stitched obsidian leather upper with white textured mudguards on each side. French Blue handles the inner lining and pull-tab, while University blue is used for branding embroidery on the tongue and additional details on the heel. Providing the finishing touch below is a white and obsidian rubber outsole.
Spots like Miami's Mr. R Sports will be carrying the "Obsidian" Air Jordan Retro 12 on Saturday, June 23. Retail will be $160.
