Mache has been on quite a roll customizing the LeBron 9 in 2012, but he recently turned his attention toward the Air Jordan III and drew inspiration from a classic Nike SB to boot. Working on a 1-of-1 request for San Diego Chargers cornerback Marcus Gilchrist, Mache treated the Jordan III to a makeover inspired by the Jeff Staple designed "Pigeon" SB Dunk Low, notoriously released to riotous NYC crowds back in 2005. The Light Graphite Retro 3 served as the perfect base shoe, while the trademark pinkish hue fills in the lower and upper eyelets, inner lining and Jumpman branding. The "Pigeon" logo was added to the sides along with Gilchrist's number '38' for personalization, while droppings on the insoles complete the job.
The "Pigeon" III is a 1-of-1 for Gilchrist and will not be reproduced by Mache. Stay up on his latest projects by bookmarking Facebook.com/MacheCustomKicks and following him @MACHE275 on Twitter.
