The Air Jordan 8 is a model that’s seen relatively few new colorways, in comparison to many retro Air Jordans. And one of the more popular examples of those colorways was released exclusively in women’s sizes.
The women’s Aqua 8s launched on September 22, 2007 – the same day that the original men’s Aqua 8s retroed for the first time. Thanks to their availability up to women’s size 13, they flew off shelves nearly as fast as their OG counterparts, due to men buying the larger sizes.
This sneaker resembles a previous pair that most men also hadn’t been able to get their hands on – a Chris Paul player exclusive. These white-based PEs were favorites among collectors, many of whom were disappointed when it was revealed that this would be a women’s edition.
