A reference to Michael Jordan’s passion for basketball and the clause he worked into his NBA contracts, the ‘For the Love of the Game’ concept returns on the Air Jordan 7 in 2015.
Exclusive to gradeschool size wearers, this pair features a grey nubuck upper, a pink interior and contrast stitching, black on the tongue, laces and midsole and a white outsole. Designating the shoe as a ‘For the Love of the Game’ release, the heart/basketball logo is embroidered on the heel. Each pairs also comes with special 30th Anniversary insoles.
The ‘For the Love of the Game’ logo made its debut during the World Basketball Festival in 2010.
