While the Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard" colorway was meant as a tribute to a uniform worn by Michael Jordan in an obscure exhibition game in the 80s, the palette just happens to line up with the colors of the Baltimore Orioles.
And so, custom sneaker creator Nomad Customs used the overlap as a jumping off point for this pair he made for Manny Machado of the Orioles. Of course Machado won't be breaking backboards anytime soon, so he's christened these the "Shattered Bat" Air Jordan 6s instead.
Along with the custom colorway, this Jordan 6 cleat redesign has an "MM13" hit under the tongue that calls out its owner.
