This summer, the Jordan Brand will introduce the Air Jordan 2012 Lite, which they describe as the lightest and most responsive Air Jordan to date. Tipping the scales at 11 ounces, the shoe features a translucent lightweight Flywire base, injected foam midsole, encapsulated Air unit and engineered traction pattern in the forefoot. The model will launch in July, starting with the Olympic-themed colorway pictured here.
The "Olympic" Air Jordan 2012 Lite features a white and obsidian upper with red working the Flywire, tongue lining and pull-tab. Obsidian continues at the midsole, which sits atop a white-dominated outsole to complete the look.
Look for these to hit stores on Thursday, July 19. Retail will be $150.
