Spike Lee has a long history with Jordan Brand, including two sneaker models made in his name. Aside from the Spizike and Air Spike 40, there have also been special Air Jordan colorways made to honor his work. Following in the footsteps of sneakers like the "Do the Right Thing" Air Jordan III, comes an all new colorway of the the II that is inspired by Radio Raheem's character in the same Lee-directed film.

This colorway uses black and blue on the upper, a white outsole, and multi-colored eyelets inspired by Radio Raheem's "Bed-Stuy Do or Die" t-shirt. It's good to see Jordan Brand continuing to honor a film that is so influential in sneaker culture.

Sole Collector is reporting that this sneaker is part of a "Brooklyn 80" collection releasing in Spring 2016.
