Fueled by his need for speed, Michael Jordan founded Michael Jordan Motorsports in 2004. Jordan's closed-course motorcycle road racing team competed in the American Motorcyclist Association until last year, before deciding to move operations overseas. Perhaps inspired by MJ's affinity for the track, a new racing-themed Air Jordan 1 for kids is due out in 2015.
This isn't your traditional Air Jordan 'Motorsports' release; this multicolored creation is clearly aimed at younger sneakerheads, with checkered flag laces adding to its playful aesthetic. A release date hasn't been announced.
