This year has seen plenty of material change ups for the adidas Superstar, but few have ended up this far out of the ordinary.
The sneaker this time has an elegant platane wood piece in place of the traditional Shelltoe, which presumably makes the shoe extra durable. There's also a fancy leather liner and graphics that draw the connection between the shoe's designer, Ivan Beslic, and Afew, the Euro sneaker shop that put the project together.
This adidas Superstar by Ivan Beslic isn't a full retail release unfortunately. Only one pair was made, and the sneaker will be on display at Afew beginning on July 31 at the Afew x Ivan Beslic exhibition in Dusseldorf.
