adidas Is Remixing the ZX 8000 Again

adidas Originals continues to update its classic running styles-this time the ZX 8000 gets the treatment.

adidas Originals has earned much praise as of late for its modern takes on classic running models.

Key styles in that range are the adidas ZX Flux and the adidas Tubular, both of which use ancient runners as a starting point but manage to make them look futuristic in the end. This time around the brand is giving a refresh to the adidas ZX 8000, the same shoe that served as the inspiration for the ZX Flux. The model is billed by Euro shop Luisa Viaroma as the adidas ZX 8000 Boost, although the namesake cushioning is hidden here–the outsole has some Boost peeking through in the middle and there's also a removable bootie with a Boost insole. The design features a clean toecap, a sharper shape, and an outsole that closes up the traditional gap on the ZX 8000 tooling. There is no U.S. release information yet for this new adidas ZX 8000 Boost.
