Kanye West has stated multiple times that his intention for the adidas Yeezy is to make the sneaker as widely available as possible.
And yet, the two releases that have happened have been pretty limited affairs. European spots will drop them starting this weekend, but most of those stockists will be getting an incredibly small amount of pairs. Shedding more light on the subject is Kanye associate Ibn Jasper, the man who first leaked the shoe to the world. In an Instagram comment spotted by DeadStockNYC, Jasper promises that when the sneakers sell out, "adidas will make a new batch and release those so that EVERYONE will EVENTUALLY be able to get them at retail price."
This is somewhat contradictory to Kanye's adidas Yeezy complaints in his recent Breakfast Club interview, where he mentioned that adidas wanted to make the shoe limited against his will.
