The Yohji Yamamoto-designed adidas Y-3 line gives us a preview of the "Sneak" shoe for 2012.
Known for his avant-garde designs, Yamamoto builds on the classic adidas Superstar model with some interesting modifications. Most obvious is the large elastic lacing system, using hiking boot-style metal lace hooks. The shoe is featured in black and white models, with a bold red heel pull on both colorways.
The Y-3 "Sneak" shoe is slated to drop in the summer of 2012.
