Today, adidas and the University of Notre Dame unveiled alternate TECHFIT football uniforms for the Irish to wear during their annual Shamrock Series game on October 5. This year, the Irish will take on Arizona State at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Notre Dame's TECHFIT jersey is all-white with metallic gold and kelly green shamrock accents. Celtic numbering and an interlocking "ND" logo appear on the back of the neck. The team's kelly green TECHFIT baselayer displays "FIGHTIN' IRISH" on the chest and "ND" on each bicep. The helmet features Notre Dame's signature textured gold with a gold chrome sham rich on each side and a kelly green chrome face mask. Players will also wear Team Speed vertical socks with Crazyquick and 5-Star 2.0 cleats.
The new uniform were made using TECHFIT ShockWeb technology, designed to keep players fast, cool and mobile on-field. TECHFIT ShockWeb features engineered body mapping, which maximizes compression zones across the chest and sides, in a lightweight knit structure that provides a tight fit with enhanced range of motion. Integrated CLIMACOOL mesh zones create airflow to keep players cool in every temperature.
