Today, adidas unveiled six new adizero uniform systems for six of its collegiate basketball teams to wear during the 2013 NCAA postseason. Uniforms feature the brand's most advances uniform technologies and the limited edition Impact Camouflage print throughout.
Baylor, UCLA and Louisville will wear the adizero short sleeve system debuted by the Golden State Warriors earlier this month, while Cincinnati, Kansas and Notre Dame will go sleeveless.
“The adizero uniform system gives players the leading performance technology with a distinctive on-court style,” said Chris McGuire, adidas Director of Sports Marketing. "The NCAA postseason brings together the best teams in the country and these uniforms celebrate the excitement of the game letting players stand out during college basketball’s biggest moments. These programs will wear the most innovative basketball uniforms and footwear to help them elevate their game during the most important time of the year.”
Uniforms are designed for a bold on-court look and engineered to enhance performance by improving fit, comfort and mobility. Revolution 30 technology allows for a quick dry, while ClimaCool zones wick away moisture and heat. The super-lightweight woven short is designed for improved breathability and a closer, more comfortable fit with compression base layers.
Also included is the Team Speed Sock, featuring built-in compression for stability and Climalite moisture wicking technology. Players will be wearing team-specific colorways of the Crazy Fast shoe, equipped with a SprintWeb design that enhances support, sheds weight and makes players quicker.
Teams will suit up in the adizero uniform systems beginning with conference tournament play March 13 - 17. Fans can pick up team gear on March 1 at adidas.com and campus bookstores.
