The 2005 release of the adidas TMAC 5 was accompanied by an "Impossible Is Nothing" TV spot, in which young Tracy McGrady fans imagine a series of fictional obstacles the All-Star would overcome to make a game-winning jumper. The clip finishes with a shot of McGrady walking off the court as it rains in the arena.

Inspired by one of its greatest commercials, adidas is re-releasing the TMAC 5 in a limited edition "It Starts Raining" colorway. The eye-catching sneaker wears a Matrix-like rain shower print in blue and green with contrasting black details. "It Starts Rainin," a reference to a statement made by a youngster in the spot, is embroidered on the underside of the cross-strap. And according to the back of the tongue, the shoe will be limited to 2,000 pairs.
Per SneakersSpy, the limited release will take place in November. Keep it locked for updates.
