Usually when the adidas Stan Smith gets strange on the materials side it's the result of a collaboration and not the work of the inline design team.
And yet here is the model with no collaborative partner involved, sporting a gunmetal grey, shiny piece along the heel that almost looks like it doubles as a bottle opener. The usual leather upper is gone too, replaced here by a flaky, cream-colored piece with a snakeskin pattern etched in.
This adidas Stan Smith release has already come and gone at Euro sneaker spot Suppa, but hopefully it will launch in the U.S. before too long.
