Adidas' Tribute Sneaker for a Legendary Skate Photographer Is Picture Perfect

With 30 years behind the lens, legendary skate photographer Skin Phillips is being celebrated with a special sneaker release from adidas.

Part of the brand’s “Respect Your Roots” Collection, the adidas Skate is being reissued in full-grain leather, with premium suede accents and a signature Skin Phillips woven label. The shoe originally released in 1978, re-launched in 2006 and is back again exclusively for Phillips.

Ahead of a launch event taking place this Saturday at KNOWN Gallery in Los Angeles, the Skin Phillips Skate is available now at adidas.com/skateboarding and select speciality retailers for $100.
