In addition to being inspired by Tim Burton's '93 holiday classic, the "Nightmare Before Christmas" adidas Rose 3 represents the restless, nightmare-filled night opponents would suffer through prior to a Christmas Day matchup with Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. Unfortunately, D-Rose will likely still be rehabbing when the Bulls and Houston Rockets tip off on 12/25, but that hasn't stopped the Burton-themed sneaker from being the most talked about Rose 3 colorway to date.

Features include a graphic-blasted purple anodized upper, contrasting yellow accents, striped laces, speckled midsole and a translucent rubber outsole. The date of 12-24-12 is stitched on the backsides of the tongues and glow-in-the-dark highlights bring the concept to life.

This is a premium edition of the Rose 3, meaning the shoes are packaged in the special white box complete with dust bags and steel hang tags.

The "Nightmare Before Christmas" Rose 3 will officially hit retail on Monday, December 24 for $180.

Impressed with the Adidas Rose 3. Gotta respect for Adidas for pushing the envelope. Its a very underrated shoe in my opinion.
