For the last two years, pop group 2NE1 ("Twenty-One" or "To Anyone") has dominated the Korean charts with two short EPs and their 2010 studio album To Anyone. Since then, the quarter of CL, Dara, Bom and Minzy have expanded internationally, selling out concerts and racking up awards in several countries. The group has also amassed quite a following in that time; fans that they refer to as "Blackjacks," a reference to the popular card game the group shares a name with (Twenty-One). One of those Blackjacks is fashion designer Jeremy Scott, who recently decided to salute 2NE1 with a new collection of his uniquely designed footwear.
The Jeremy Scott for 2NE1 Collection consists of two winged pairs of kicks designed for the girls. First, a vibrantly colored version of the JS Collage Wings with faux fur detailing. Additionally, Scott created a clean white-on-white satin pair of JS Wings 2.0.
Both pairs will hit adidas Originals retailers across Asia in November. Other select retailers around the world will be carrying them as well. Stick with Sole Collector for any updates.
