adidas Officially Signs Joakim Noah

The Bulls All-Star center will be joining his teammate Derrick Rose on the adidas roster.

For his first six years in the league, Joakim Noah had one of the more unique sneaker deals in the league. Rather than signing with one of the traditional basketball brands, Noah opted for a deal with French company Le Coq Sportif, who are a familliar name in the tennis world. Noah was probably the only player in the League this deal would have made any sense for, based on the fact that his father was a professional tennis player from France.

Entering his seventh season, and now an NBA All-Star, Noah has just signed to the adidas team, where he'll join six Bulls teammates, including Derrick Rose. Check out the official press release below.

PORTLAND, Ore. (October 8, 2013) – adidas today announced a partnership with NBA All-Star center Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls

NBA All-Star Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls joins the adidas basketball roster which includes his Chicago Bulls teammate and 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose along with three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets, 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and two-time NBA MVP and four-time NBA Champion Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs.

The new partnership with Noah makes him the seventh current Chicago Bulls player with an adidas partnership including Rose, Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson, Marquis Teague, Tony Snell and Erik Murphy.
