Even though he's practically been a pro with a huge international following since the age of 16, it's still taken Ricky Rubio a handful of years to have his very own sneaker released to the public. After joining the adidas Basketball roster this season, we're expecting that to become a more frequent thing.
Earlier today on adidas.com, the Three Stripes quickstriked what we can imagine will be the first of many special edition Rubio sneakers, as they dropped his away colorway of the Crazy Light 2 in a full size run.
As for the custom colorway of the lightest shoe in basketball, it's fairly basic as per Ricky's direct request.
"I don't like crazy colors really," Rubio told us over All-Star Weekend. "I like white and black with our team colors and to keep it simple."
