This week, adidas officially launches the adizero 5-Star 2.0, the lightest cleat in football.
Tipping the scales at just 6.7 ounces, the adizero 5-Star 2.0 features an updated single-layer synthetic SprintSkin II and SprintWeb build for lightweight stability and support during cuts and changes in direction.
In January, the top high school players in the country debuted the adizero 5-Star 2.0 at the US Army All-American Bowl and adidas BCS teams Notre Dame, Louisville, Wisconsin and Northern Illinois wore the new cleat in their bowl games.
The adizero 5-Star 2.0 is available now in six colorways for $110 at adidas.com.
