A sign that adidas will move forward with the launch of Dame Lillard's next signature shoe sometime soon, the All-Star guard debuted the new model on-court during pregame warmups earlier tonight.
The adidas D Lillard 2, which has been previewed in months past, is a mid-top silhouette, scaled up a bit more than its predecessor. While Boost cushioning isn't present on this pair (it's rumored to be showing up later), there is a bit of a tech upgrade with the addition of Primeknit quarter panels. The heel counters are very pronounced and bear double Dame logos, while a textured midsole and gum rubber outsole finish off this particular colorway.
Lillard went back to the D Lillard 1 for the game, so it doesn't look like they're ready for the full rollout just yet.
As of now, adidas hasn't announced the official sneaker release date for the D Lillard 2. The Lillard 1 launched back in January, so they could be following the same timeline. Stay tuned for updates.
