It turns out that the "Superman" Crazy 8 isn't Dwight Howard's last sneaker with adidas.
Though Howard's status with adidas is currently up in the air, there is a D Howard 6 signature model. The gradeschool version is already being sold at Eastbay and European stockists are taking pre-orders with a Sep. 1 fulfill date.
The high-top, which features design language similar to the Post Up series, is equipped with basic adidas performance tech like SprintFrame support and adiPrene cushioning.
Howard debuted the 6 on-court during Team USA minicamp in Las Vegas last weekend.
At the moment, Howard hasn't agreed to a new sneaker deal with another company and is still discussing his future with adidas. Adding James Harden to the fold gives the brand more incentive to keep the big man around.
