Despite enormous expectations, Andrew Wiggins showed signs of living up to the hype in his rookie season. In need of some fresh faces, it's no surprise that adidas will put more energy behind the reigning Rookie of the Year next season.
Here's a look at Wiggins' next PE release — another colorway of the adidas Crazylight Boost 2015. The look could double as a nod to the Timberwolves or his home city of Toronto, with a repeated Maple Leaf pattern throughout the upper giving credence to the latter. The leaf also appears on a new "AW" logo on the tongue.
There's no release date for the Wiggins PE at the moment, but with photos already out, sometime this summer is a safe bet. Stay tuned.
UPDATE 6/23: The adidas Crazylight Boost 2015 'Andrew Wiggins' in this home colorway will release on July 17.
