The partnership between adidas and the NBA may be coming to an end, but until a new outfitter officially takes over, using team logos on footwear and apparel is still fair game.
Initially previewed last summer, the 'Lakers' adidas Crazy 8 has finally made its way to retail. Kobe Bryant's original adidas shoe is dressed in yellow canvas and faux snakeskin, with the Lakers' team logo patched on the tongue. A palm tree print, presumably representing sunny LA, adorns the straps and pull-tabs. Balancing out the look, the contoured midsole and outsole are finished in black.
Crazy 8s for the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets dropped earlier this year.
