Early next month, adidas will launch Derrick Rose's signature shoe for the second half of the season, the adidas adiZero Rose 2.5. Continuing with the "All Flights Cancelled" theme introduced with the adiZero Rose 2, the 2.5 sports an ultra-light SprintWeb-based upper that sheds more than two ounces of weight from its predecessor. GeoFit padding along the collar enhances comfort, while a SprintFrame support system maintains stability. Also featuring tooling similar to that of the adiZero Crazy Light, what makes the Rose 2.5 unique the the incorporation of the adidas miCoach SPEED_CELL, an interactive training tool that will allow the wearer to track performance.
The adiZero Rose 2.5 will be introduced in Black/White/Scarlet and Aluminum/Scarlet/White on Thursday, February 2nd. A week later, the Scarlet/Black/White colorway will be released. All three styles, which retail for $110, can be previewed in detail below.
