Dwight Howard's summer relocation opens up new marketing opportunities for the 3-Stripes in sunny Los Angeles, so we can expect to see plenty of purple and gold hoop shoes from adidas in the months ahead. Though this new colorway of the Crazy Light 2 isn't directly attached to Superman, the vibrant look is clearly LA-inspired.

Purple SprintWeb material is featured on the upper of this pair, while Electricity works the laces, stripe borders, adiZero pinline and midsole. The SprintFrame chassis appears in metallic gold and white rubber helps finish off the outsole below. Each pair is also lined with "The City Keeps Dreamin'" insoles.

No word on a release for this Crazy Light 2 at the moment, but we'll be sure to keep you updated here at Sole Collector.

All the adidas shoes that are made for the players are pretty much always ugly. Don't like these shoes at all, especially not the CW.

One of the better features of a lot of Crazy Light 2s that doesn't get mentioned is the 3M Stripes along the ankle collar.
