Before taking his talents to Brooklyn, former Nike Sportswear designer Marc Dolce teamed up with Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen to resurrect his signature sneaker line.

Below is our first look at the shoe believed to be the Pippen 6, which mostly speaks to the line's heritage with a few modern updates. They started with a simple stitched leather base and enhanced it with a patent leather overlay — perhaps a salute to Pip's running mate? The lacelock is also a bit Jordanesque. Jeweled Swoosh branding is a Pippen staple, while the Dynamic Flywire is an obvious new addition to the series. Below, we see a metallic wing, Air bag and a traction pattern that's somewhat reminiscent of the Air Pippen 1. Lastly, Scottie's old logo returns on the sole.

If this is indeed the Pippen 6, and we have no reason to believe it isn't, what are your initial thoughts? As of now, we don't have a release date, but we'll continue to keep you updated as new details emerge.
