When Kevin Garnett decided to return to the Celtics for an 18th NBA season back in June, few were as excited as the team over at ANTA Sports, who will produce and market a Kevin Garnett signature sneaker for the third-straight year.
Yesterday, KG kicked off a four-stop tour of China with ANTA Vice President Xu Yang in Harbin, where they officially unveiled the new KG 3. Upcoming stops on the tour include Zhengzhou, Chengdu and Shenzhen.
Designed by industry vet Dallas Stokes, KG's third ANTA sig makes good on KG's preference of a clean silhouette, particularly the toebox. Additional features include a double fold-down tongue, all-over tonal KG logo print and parquet cues alongside traditional herringbone on the translucent outsole to tie into the Garden and Boston hoop heritage.
