Last week, the Spring 2015 Air Jordan Retro lineup was previewed at an event in New York City. We’ve already seen photos, but here’s a closer look at next year’s offerings courtesy of Jacques Slade (@Kustoo).
The first retros released under the brand’s new remastered initiative, the group starts with the return of the mesh-less ‘Columbia’ and ‘Oreo’ Air Jordan 4s from 1999, as well as an all-new ‘Teal’ colorway. Back for the first time since 2002 is the ‘French Blue’ colorway of the Air Jordan 7. We also get a handful of Air Jordan 10s, including the original ‘Chicago’ colorway with #45 embroidery and ‘Bulls Over Broadway’ and ‘Lady Liberty’ releases for All-Star Weekend.
Remastering refers to the new manufacturing process Jordan Brand is using to get retro sneakers as close as possible to the originals in terms of quality and feel. As noted on kustoo.com, these upgrades will come with a per pair price increase of about $20. Official release dates are unknown at the moment, but we’ll keep you updated here at Sole Collector.
