Today, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant was named NBA MVP for the first time in his career. Receiving 119 of 125 possible first place votes, Durant averaged a career-best 32 points to go with 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists, also a career high. In capturing his fourth scoring title, he joined Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, George Gervin and Allen Iverson as the only players to win at least four scoring titles.

With Durant's latest achievements, sneakerheads are left wondering what Nike Basketball has up their sleeves for a celebration. Will a fourth 'Scoring Title' shoe be released? What will the 'MVP' KD 6 look like? According to Nike's press release, it'll look however you want, as it'll be a special drop on NIKEiD. More information on that as soon as new details emerge.

Nike Zoom KD II 'Scoring Title' (2010)

Commemorating Durant's first NBA scoring title, Nike dropped this special make-up of the Zoom KD II. Primarily decked out in photo blue, the shoes were highlighted by custom tongue patches and insoles printed with symbols representing his family, friends and achievements.

Nike Zoom KD III 'HORSE' (2011)

The now defunct All-Star Weekend H-O-R-S-E competition was an event tailor-made for Durant's skillset. He won the contest in 2009 and 2010 before it was cut from the lineup in 2011. Unfortunately, Nike had this horse hair KD III sample ready to roll out for a possible three-peat, but he ended up wearing it in the Three-Point Shootout instead.

Nike Zoom KD III 'Scoring Title Home' (2011)

Nike celebrated Durant's second scoring title with 'home' and 'away' colorways of the KD III. The 'home' shoe featured a white upper, adorned tribal-style graphics on the side panels with hidden messages inspired by KD's upbringing.

The 'away' shoe was decked out in grey with the same print and Thunder-inspired blue and yellow accents.

Nike Zoom KD IV 'Scoring Title' (2012)

Durant's third-straight scoring title was celebrated with this vivid colorway of his most popular signature shoe. Like previous efforts, this shoe is marked with a symbolic graphic print along the cross-strap, heel and inner lining.

Nike Zoom KD IV 'Gold Medal' (2012)

An Olympic Gold Medal isn't exactly a trophy, but it's easily the greatest achievement of Durant's career thus far. He led Team USA in scoring with 19.5 points per game as they battled their way to gold.

Nike KD VI 'Scoring Title' & 'MVP' (2014)

Earlier today, the NBA announced the Kevin Durant has been named MVP for the 2013-2014 season. Nike responded by sending out their own press release, which noted that there will be a surprise KD VI 'MVP' release on NIKEiD soon. We haven't heard anything about a new 'Scoring Title' shoe, but one may be in the works.
