The pair that closed for the highest amount last night ended at $4070.15, lower than the average going rate of pairs auctioned off during the first five days. An average pair was auctioned off for about $3,283 last night.
The overall total for money raised from the Nike MAG auctions stands somewhere around $3,627,450. When you factor in Google Co-Founder Sergey Brin's pledge to double all donations made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation throughout the remainder of the year, you're then looking at a contribution of nearly $7.3 million dollars to fight Parkinson's Disease.
