Fourth Round of Nike MAG Back to the Future Shoe Auctions Raise $508,000

In our daily update on the status of the 2011 Nike MAG eBay auctions, we're happy to report that the fourth day of closings brought in another $508,146 for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Day 4 winners paid an average of $3,388 for their Nike MAGs, slightly down from what they went for on Day 3. The most spent on a single pair of MAGs yesterday was $4,984.

With 600 pairs auctioned off on eBay, the 2011 Nike MAG auctions have brought in about $2,623,857. That means the overall going rate for a pair through four days is $4,373. Doubling the overall total with Google Co-Founder Sergey Brin's pledge to match all incoming Michael J. Fox Contributions through the remainder of the year, the Nike MAG auctions have already raised an impressive $5,247,714 for Parkinson's research.
