A much-needed change of pace from retros like the GEL-Lyte III and GT-II, Asics has obliged their core group of supporters with the long-awaited revival of the GEL Saga II. Originally issued in 1990, the GEL Saga II was a groundbreaking performance model for the brand due to its lightweight synthetic construction, molded EVA midsole and GEL cushioning element. Designed by Toshikazu Kayano, these original styles were inspired by the Gelgoog suits worn in the classic Japanese anime, "Mobile Suit Gundam."
Colorways made available include the original Black/White/Purple and White/Blue/Yellow make-ups. Quantities are said to be limited, so pick up your pairs today at SneakersNStuff.
