Jayson Tatum is Jordan Brand's newest endorsee.

The announcement was officially made earlier today at a Jordan Brand press event in Paris. The young Boston Celtics forward was joined by fellow Jumpman athletes like Russell Westbrook, Kemba Walker, Maya Moore, and more. Michael Jordan was also in attendance.

"He’s a great young talent. He’s excited to be a part of Jordan Brand. I know when I was young and met Michael Jordan and got to associate myself with Michael Jordan, I was super excited and I’m still super excited to this day," Westbrook tells Sole Collector.

Up to this point, Tatum has been one of the notable young stars for Nike Basketball. He notably helped the Swoosh unveil the Adapt BB on court this past season with various PE versions, debuted special colorways of the Kyrie 4 the year prior when Kyrie Irving went down with an injury, and even released his own colorway of the Air Max 97 earlier this month.

Expect to see Tatum lacing up the latest performance models, and maybe even some exclusive Air Jordan PEs, when he hits the floor with the Cs during the 2019-2020 NBA season. The exact details about Tatum's new deal are not available at this time.
