Adidas Consortium has revealed the latest in-house model it will be releasing as a part of its Spring/Summer 2019 collection, the ZX 10000C. The silhouette originally made its debut earlier this month, thanks to a collaboration with Berlin boutique Overkill.

The low-top is supposed to act as the follow-up to the ZX 9000 that released back in 1989, the final pair from the original ZX lineup. Elements like the Torsion bar system are retained from the '80s footwear. The original designer of the ZX series and Torsion technology, Jacques Chassaing, was even tapped to help craft this new addition to the line.

This pair sports a mixture of mesh and suede across its upper that combines a nostalgic color palette of aqua blue, orange, grey, and tan. Black mesh netting wraps the mid panel, while a black rubber outsole completes the retro-inspired running design. TPU overlays are used for the eyelets and heel counter. Adidas' signature Three Stripes are created with orange nylon on each side panel.

Look for the Adidas ZX 10000C to hit select Consortium accounts on Saturday, Feb. 23 for $160.
