New Kobes Get the 'Grinch' Treatment

The Nike Mamba Rage EP has surfaced in a new 'Electric Green' colorway. The pair resembles the popular 'Grinch' Kobe 6 with its green upper, red detailing, and fleece accents.

Back in 2010, Nike dressed the Kobe 6 in a colorway inspired by the popular Christmas story How the Grinch Stole Christmas for its Holiday season release. A sellout back then, the pair remains one of the most popular flavors to ever come from Kobe Bryant's signature line. Eight years later, the "Grinch" color scheme is coming back on the budget-friendly Mamba Rage.

An electric green Flyweave upper is accented with slashes of red on the toe box and mid panel, black Swooshes, a large red Kobe logo on the tongue, and sits atop a matching Lunarlon midsole. Acting as possible nods to the Grinch's fur, the tongue and heel feature textured panels, while the ankle and inner tongue are lined with fleece.

Expect the "Grinch" Nike Mamba Rage EP to hit select retailers in the near future for the silhouette's usual going rate of $100.
