It's never too early to look ahead at what Jordan Brand has lined up for All-Star Weekend 2019 in Michael Jordan's home state.
Pinoe77 reports a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High is expected to launch in a Carolina-like scheme of white, university blue and navy. The retro is given 'OG' designation, which means you should expect Nike Air tagging and no Jumpman branding.
All-Star Weekend was supposed to take place in Charlotte in 2017, but was relocated due to North Carolina's position on the controversial "Bathroom Bill." Iridescent Hornets-inspired colorways of Air Jordans 1, 6 and 31 still hit retail, but the All-Star association was downplayed a bit following the move. It appears that Jordan Brand is working on another collection for next year.
