Teased earlier this month, Unbanned: the Legend of AJ1 is a feature-length documentary that explores the history of the Air Jordan 1 and how it influenced a social an cultural revolution in sports, music, fashion, art, social behavior and sneakers.

The film features appearances by Spike Lee, Michael B. Jordan, DJ Khaled, Lena Waithe, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, Chuck D, David Stern, Tinker Hatfield and more. It was written and directed by Dexton Deboree, co-founder of award winning creative agency Los York, which has produced a long list of campaigns for Nike and Jordan Brand in past years. Unbanned marks the official launch of Los York Entertainment, which aims on creating impactful long and short-form entertainment with social impact and cultural significance.
