Official images have leaked of Clot's upcoming Air Force 1 collaboration with Nike.
The shoe takes a clean white-on-white approach, but with a twist. The entire upper is made of a white silk embroidered with an all-over pattern of intricate Chinese-inspired designs. This pair also features a cream leather Swoosh, a milky opaque outsole, and perforated leather inner lining.
Back in 2009, CLOT released a similar Air Force 1 as a part of Nike's 1World campaign. That pair featured a red silk upper and black leather accents. A detail unique to that pair was a second leather layer of the upper that could be revealed by burning or cutting the silk, allowing for complete customization. The 2009 collab also came in a giant hexagon-shaped box with multiple lace options. It has not been made clear if this upcoming pair will have the same upper treatment or special packaging.Â
Look for the Clot x Nike Air Force 1 to release some time around the Chinese New Year festivities in February 2018.
UPDATE (01/31):Â Clot has confirmed that this pair will feature a second laser engraved layer of leather that can be revealed by burning or cutting the top layer of silk. The Clot x Nike Air Force 1 is set to release on Feb. 2 at Juice stores in Asia and clot.com. A more widespread future release has yet to be anncouned. New images of the unveiled second layer can be seen below.Â
