The year is quickly winding down, which means Jordan Brand will soon hit reset on its launch calendar. Before we dive into Jumpman's offerings for 2018, J23app compiled a list of every 'signature' release from Jordan Brand and tallied the numbers.
In total, there were 174 Air Jordan releases in 2017, beginning with the "Stealth" Air Jordan 15 Retro and ending with the green-based "Gatorade" Air Jordan 6. The complete year of drops retailed for an incredible $32,428, the most expensive single pairs being $400 Air Jordan 5 Premiums. Figures include gradeschool exclusive pairs.
After taking somewhat of a hit in the market this year, word is Jordan Brand will be cutting quantity on some of it releases next year, making them a bit more difficult to acquire. The LA-inspired Air Jordan 1 Retro High is expected to be one of the first launches in January.
