Tom Sachs Nike Mars Yard Blue

The show floor at this weekend's ComplexCon event in Long Beach has so far been filled with all sorts of rare footwear. Take the sneaker here, an unreleased version of Tom Sachs' popular Mars Yard 2.0 seen on the feet of Nike designer Ben Kirschner, for example.

Kirschner's pair replaces the model's red sections on the Swoosh and tongue tab with a deep blue. Other than that, it appears to be the same shoe that released at retail to much hype this summer.

Kirschner, who was tight-lipped about this blue Mars Yard 2.0, has quietly designed a handful of Nike's top collaborations over the past couple years, and helped re-introduce the Air Force 1 in 2016 via the SF AF-1.

The Mars Yard 2.0 is a redux of artist Tom Sachs' first space-inspired Nike shoe, which released in 2012.
