While Nike has issued a statement saying it's working on fixing its NBA jerseys to make them stronger after repeated rips have marred the start of its high-profile new deal with the league, players continue to see their uniforms rip. The latest is Indiana Pacers small forward Thaddeus Young, who tore his own jersey around the collar in frustration during a game on Sunday night.

Young's rip stands out in that it's only the second instance in the 2017-18 season where a player has ripped his own jersey—the other being Kevin Love's accidental rip. Tyler Ennis, Draymond Green, LeBron James, and Ben Simmons have all also had their jerseys ripped.

Nike chairman, CEO, and president Mark Parker commented on the jersey rips in a recent interview with CNBC, saying the company had isolated the issue and was in control of the situation.
