Nike has a colorful quartet of its Air VaporMax SE, the laceless version of the VaporMax model, on the way. The four "Jewel Pack" sneakers shown are available as a preview now in the new Nike app as an unlock for Nike+ members, and will be available on Dec. 7.
The app also has unlockable previews of never-before-seen sneakers like upcoming Air Force 1s and access to the previously sold out HyperAdapt 1.0.
The latest unlock in the app is access to a member-only window of shopping time at Nike's doors in the New York City area ahead of regular store hours on Friday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m.
Nike's focus on revamping its app offerings is a part of the brand's strategy to increase its connection to the consumer and grow its digital footprint. These efforts extend to the Nike SNKRS app, which it hopes can control the conversation around "sneaker culture."
