Remember the Nike Air Money Lo from 1996 made famous by players like Reggie Miller? A few new pairs of the shoe surfacing on social media via unexpected sources suggest that the model will be back soon.

Exclusive Nike Air Monies were given to Viceland duo and Twitter superstars Desus and Mero, along with producer 9th Wonder. Their pairs are decorated with special embroidery along the lace shroud that won't make it to a retail release if one materializes.

It's worth noting that these versions of the sneaker are different from the originals. Based on the angles offered via Instagram posts on the sneakers, this Nike Air Money retro looks to have ditched its original tooling for that of the Nike Air More Uptempo. What's more, the new design has a removable lace shroud. A post at Nice Kicks suggests this hybrid will be called the Nike Get Money.

There is no indication yet of a possible sneaker release date for the return of Nike's Air Money model.
