Marty McFly Nike Mag Movie Worn OG

Among the many things you'll see on display at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend is an original pair of Nike Mag sneakers worn by Michael J. Fox's character Marty McFly in Back to the Future II.

One of the most famous and collectible sneakers ever created, the Nike Mag was mass produced for a charity auction in 2011, before proper auto-lacing versions were raffled off for charity last year.

This original pair from 1989 is currently in the care of Prop Store, a movie memorabilia store and auction house that will be making this extremely rare pair available via auction this fall. According to the Prop Store officials, they're expected to fetch anywhere from $32,000 to $45,000—essentially the same range as wearable pairs from the 2016 run. The originals have certainly seen better days, but they're still an incredible piece of sneaker and cinema history.
