As confirmed by a report in April, the Charlotte Hornets will be the only team in the NBA not wearing Nike jerseys for the 2017-18 season, the squad instead playing up Michael Jordan's ownership with Jumpman uniforms. While Nike's not yet unveiled those, a leak has surfaced on Twitter courtesy of Nice Kicks' Matt Halfhill.
In a release from the Hornets posted in April, the team confirmed that these new jerseys would be available first at the re-opening of the Hornets Fan Shop in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team hasn't given a definitive date for when said shop will open, but construction is expected to finish in late September.
League commissioner Adam Silver referenced these jerseys as early as April, 2016.
